We are a family run company based in County Wexford.Wexford, among other counties, has a proud hurling tradition dating back to the beginning of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in 1884.

About the Hurling Sticks

My First Hurl is available in two sizes:

Hurl of 11 inches in length – Approximately 11inches in length and 140 grams in weight. A Genuine Ash Hurl, made in exactly the same way as a full size adults hurl. It’s a beautiful, miniature, hurl which makes a perfect gift for Newborns, Christening etc.

Hurl of 14 inches in length – Approximately 14 inches in length and 180grams in weight A Genuine 14’’ Ash Hurl, more suited to toddlers, a great gift for First Birthday, First Christmas and so on. It is the perfect way to introduce your little one to the fantastic game of hurling.

All hurls are sanded and varnished prior to shipping and can be customized to your liking.

What makes us different to any other suppliers of hurls, is our ability to personalize your hurl with our special laser engraving machine. You can order a hurl with your Babys Name, Date of Birth, Weight or Message of your choice. This will make babys first hurl extra special and is sure to make it even more unique and meaningful!
